Managing Your Account
Your account and preferences are managed in two places: Profile (who you are) and Settings (account, security, notifications, data).
Profile
Click your avatar → Profile, or go to /hub/profile.
Basic Info — Display name (editable), email (read-only for reference). Update your display name as needed.
About You — Job title, industry, country. Optional. Helps personalize Smart Match.
Your Setup — Platforms you use, monthly AI budget, technical level. Optional. Improves recommendation quality.
Profile has a completion bar. Fill in more fields for better personalization.
Settings
Click your avatar → Settings, or go to /hub/settings.
Account tab — Display name, email, verification status, member since. Overview of your account.
Security tab — Change password, sign out. Use a strong password. Sign out on shared devices.
Notifications tab — Toggles for:
- Weekly digest
- Watchlist alerts
- Smart Match emails
- Product announcements
Turn on or off as you prefer.
Data & Privacy tab — Export your data (download a copy) and delete your account. Export before deleting if you want to keep your information.
What You Can Change
- Display name — In Profile or Settings Account tab
- Password — In Settings Security tab
- Notification preferences — In Settings Notifications tab
Email changes may require verification. Contact info@hokai.io if you need to update your email.
